Kraras Hall Policies and Procedures

Rental Information

Rental price is based on your event and the date. If there are no other events scheduled that day, you are welcome to use the hall the entire day. The event must end by 10:00 pm and the hall be cleaned up and vacated by 11:00 pm unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.

Pricing, Deposits and Payment

Please call or email our office to discuss pricing or to arrange a personal meeting and/or tour of our facilities. Half of the rental fee must be paid as a deposit to hold the date. An additional refundable security deposit of $250.00 must also be paid in addition to the rental fee deposit. The security deposit will be returned after verification of no damage to the facility.

Children

A special menu can be designed for children at your event. If you are serving the children the same meal as the adults you will receive a 25% discount.

Sales Tax:

6% PA Sales Tax will be added to the total bill.

Bar Service

If you choose to have alcohol at your affair, it may be brought in at no additional cost. This offers a substantial savings for your event. We will supply all the necessary mixers, toppers and bartenders.

To order beer, contact South Mountain Beer Distributor at 610-678-8001 and tell them you need the beer delivered to one of Konopelski Katering’s facilities. The Beer Company will deliver and setup your beer prior to your event. You will receive a refund for any untapped kegs of beer.

Decorations

As an added convenience, you may decorate the day prior to your event if it is not being used. All decorating and deliveries must be coordinated with us to ensure our personnel will be on premise. All decorations must be removed at the end of the event.

Occupancy

Kraras Hall can accommodate up to 250 guests with a dance floor and 300 without a dance floor.

Directions

Traveling South on Lancaster Avenue (from Reading) turn right onto Hancock Blvd. at Tom Masano onto East Wyomissing Avenue, proceed approximately 1.5 miles to Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (Past Berks Catholic High School), turn right onto Parkside Drive South and then turn left into the Hall parking lot.
